Chipotle pecan sauce is sweet, spicy, nutty, vegan, and oil-free

- 1 cup of pecans
- 1/2 to 1 chipotle depending on the hotness. Seed the chipotle.
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1–2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1– 1.5 cups of water
Instructions
- Lightly toast pecans in a pan
- Pour the water into a high-speed blender
- Start with a half of a chipotle pepper (they vary in spiciness). Remove the seeds if there are any. You can always add more to make it spicier later
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend
- Taste and add more syrup, chipotles, or water
